How To Enjoy Yourself Despite The Cold
Saturday, November 3rd, 2007Okay, I admit as I get older I have less tolerance for the fluffy white stuff. SNOW, you got to love that very first snow fall of the year when it snows enough to remain on the trees and blankets everywhere. This winter baby appreciates the winter season when she’s in the tropics sipping a Margarita or Pina Colada. The unfortunate thing is I can only escape it for 1 week to 2 weeks at the most, as our jobs don’t allow much longer. So… I’m thinking it might be a good idea to find ways to make the Winter seem shorter.
How to enjoy yourself despite the cold.
1. Dress Warmly
2. Particpate in a winter sport such as skating, downhill skiing, cross country skiing, snowboarding, sledding.
3. Snow angels
4. Build a snowman
5. Snowball fight
6. Warm up to a nice cup of hot chocolate with marshmallows
7. Rent a chalet or cottage with your family and friends
8. Sit by a warm fireplace and read a book
